the rules say do not disturb other peoples stuff. If a chest is not yours going into it would be a disturbance and stealing from it would definitely be a disturbance. If I could get some clarification from Intelli (the only admin) that would be great.

If you get caught, your in trouble. How often do you actually catch a thief though? Worrying about theft being illegal or not is pointless.

I had everything stolen from me last night >:( and they destroyed all my chests and griefed my mob trap. I am do sick and tiered of griefers I'm begining to wish we had a white list

iv had my stuff stolen to but honestly i expect it. its a survial server. its going to happen. just hide your stuff better. i mean the stuff i had stole was the stuff that i didnt hide. my chest that were right there in the open were gone. but the onse that i hid under 4 layers of stone wernt tuched

I think stealing should be allowed. I dont steal, but its all part of survival, I enjoy trying to overcome all sorts of obstacles like this.

Well judging by this post by Intelli it looks like stealing is allowed.

Oh well. I don't take any chances with the "important things" anyway. My policy is, if someone steals from me and I find out who it was, I'll take everything back, and "steal" their house while I'm at it.
