The PVP Dragon Strategy

No, this isnt the ender dragon strategy.

Thank you to FrostyBirth for this idea:
From now on, i am naming all my tools:
Dragon (item)
EG:
Dragon Pick
Dragon Chestplate
Dragon Shovel
Except for Swords which will be:
DragonSlayer155's Sword.
This strategy has worked on several occasions. With people being fed up of the level you have to rename it with and so they just "sell" it back to me. You see, when I pvped frosty, until then i didnt realise full PVP was killing, looting, then selling the bad stuff back and keeping the goodies. Thank You frosty, for my reason to have a DC of invis potions.

If you would like to use this strategy, make the renaming YOUR name. If you name it:
Sword of Epicness
Then people will keep it. If you name it:
ShaddowDemons Dark Sword
Then theyll have a less chance of keeping it.
This only works if you have good enchants on your items. Do this and not only will you have good items, but a better chance of getting them back.

Or if you 100% want your stuff, before the battle say will you give my stuff back? If they say "yes" screenshot it and PVP. If no then go back to flower arranging.

EDIT: If you have nothing nice to say peoples, dont say anything.

Why would anyone sell back someone's stuff just because they named it after themselves? It just gives more more of a reason to throw their items into a chest, and label it in the style of Old Novasbiscuit's treasure room, except with more decapitated heads.

The people that matter know what I mean.

The only reason I name my stuff is so the repairing cost doesn't go up. It also allows people to identify my stuff if they want to sell it back.

That said, people are more likely, not less, to keep named stuff, because it lowers the repair cost, which is going to be a big obstacle with the new mob limit.

My stuff, for anyone who cares (I name all my stuff this):

The Helm of Destiny
The Chestplate of Destiny
The Leggings of Destiny (almost named them the pants of destiny)
The Boots of Destiny
The Blade of Destiny
The Bow of Destiny

If you have one of these, I probably want to buy it back. xD

(I'm pretty sure You-Know-Who threw my last set into lava, though)

How did I give you this idea? I just said I've killed people, and items with names on them...

Oh, right, you declined to sell them back to me because I tried to get Vortex to team on you, I remember. Well, any time you change your mind :3

@dil: You-Know-Who is the griefer with the name that we don't say.
