Operation Obtain Players starts December 17, 2012 and runs until January 17, 2013.

We are putting over $870 towards advertisements to run during this time. We ask you, the players, to help out in the following ways:

• Be nice to new players.
• Clean up your realms. Make sure spawn isn't a mess.
• Help advertise. Submit MineRealm to new server lists, bump the Minecraft forum thread, etc.

I will help out, but if these new comers deside to greif me. I won't hesitate to ask the mods for their banning.

Let's make the 150 player limit look like an antique!

ill be nice to the players who are nice back if they start to spam or swear or disrespecting other players i will warn them in a friendly way of course but i will not tolerate anything disrespecting against any player what so ever. and intelli could u please tell us more about i what way we can make the server bad? give us an example so we know what we NOT should do. thanks and ill gladly help too im always nice to new players and help most of them too .

Just make sure things look nice, no massive slabs of dirt, no floating blocks sitting around, half-completed projects, etc.

For example, I've changed the top of my tower at spawn, improved the building at the end of my LBG arena, and taken down the iron ring at spawn - all to give new players a better impression of the server.

Perhaps more park-like features at spawn would make a player's first impression even better. The first thing I noticed when I joined minerealm was the lovely flowers and pond by spawn. Maybe we can put some benches there and one or two lamps. And a few potted flowers here and there wouldn't hurt.
