I decided to research wither spawning pads, and I found out that a lot of us are making them wrong. Withers can spawn anywhere in a nether rock fortress chunk, and only on bricks. Literally anytype of brick nothing else. This is why when you are at a pad withers seem to spawn in the same spots. That is because there is a type of brick there!

Well good thing I was starting to take the excess nether brick and gonna start making the whole flooring nether brick.

They also spawn on netherrack so I wouldn't waste your precious netherbrick on spawning platforms.

Can't waste what's already left here(Just relocating the left over griefed netherbrick in that area which makes it look horrible griefed anyways so it's killing 2 birds with 1 stone, cleaning grief and improving the area. Which also makes it more protected to griefers since now it's techinically not natural.) and I have yet to see them spawn o nthe netherrack only on the little bits and pieces of nether brick up there. However if anyones goes and looks I've changed/altered the area quite a bit so hopefully we will see them more.

They spawn on every block, I've not seen a single full netherbrick farm. Mainly cobble netherrack and stone slabs, they spawn on all.
