So, it would appear that some of you don't like the primary spawn building.

Before continuing, I'll just clarify that this middle building is the "spawn building":

So, this thread is for you to submit your spawn building redesign proposals.

All proposals need to fit within the 30x30 spawn area.

As well, they need to include the primary spawn area (with welcome signs), the tutorial area, and the trade room.

To me, it seems even harder to find my way to the tutorials area if I haven't read the sign that says Follow the red wool for etc. Perhaps we can make the rules a bit more evident then they are right now?

Honestly, I hadn't been on the server much, and not near spawn at all for awhile and when I saw the current building I was really impressed. I like it a lot just as it is.

Hmm... That is an issue. Maby it should be that when you die or when your new to the game you spawn inside a tower that overlooks minerealm. But if you /spawn you spawn on a ground level building. I think if anyone has specific plans that would work they should build it in creative, snapshot it and post it.

Make paths going out in all directions from spawn that start at the edges of the spawn building, instead of going through it (north, south, east, west). Remove all the fences, glass and cover every hole in the spawn building except for tutorials. Then, make a spawn hut like the old one, to have a unique fusion of old and new spawns

I think the spawn tower itself shoud remain with the removal of all of the glass and fences on top (besides the edge) which makes it really difficult to move around. The building should be hollowed out, with one exit to ground level AND tutorials/teleporter at the center via a spiral stairwell. Here, there will be four exits north east west south (just entrance ways at the edge of the buildings). So basically, you spawn on top where you normally do with the signs and wall still there (no glass and fences all over), theres one spiral stairway in the center (hole in the floor) that takes you down to the base of the spawn building (hollowed out), the red line will go to the a teleporter and tutorials in its seperate room (I think should be placed under trade since the buildings hollowed out, OR just stay where it is walled off unless it blocks one of the entrance/exits to the building) This layout would be a lot less claustrophobic and easier to navigate for nubs and vets alike with additional space for spawn on top and in the building.
