Found several lag machines, lag greatly reduced. (/who)
It also re-affirms our decision to wipe redstone.

Just do a full wipe, all this patchwork effort is not worth it IMHO....wipe the damn slate clean.

After much consideration, only redstone dust will be wiped. Not redstone torches.
Also, there will be no fee presently. However, we will be building a system for moderators to receive redstone notifications. Moderators will remove any structures causing lag without notification and without compensation.

Curious, how old were these machines?

The only machines wiped were in active areas.

I like this change. However, some notification that something was wiped would be helpful to clarify that there weren't griefers involved. Something simple and generic like "Moderators removed some of your redstone due to lag issues." could be sent to the players whose structures are affected the next time they log in. That's just a minor issue though--overall I'm very happy with this change even though I was also prepared to accept fees for placing redstone torches.

If they're nice maybe they'll borrow one of your signs and leave you a message hmm?

I feel like this needs to be here for all of the more paranoid players of Minerealm.

These where not technical lag machines, more like laggy machines, if you will. Like the club seduction dance floor and a large automated mushroom farm, these 2 where a couple machines mentioned by admins in the chat during the partial purge.
