I heard that Mojang and Bukkit got eachother really ****** off, and Minecraft 1.3 is not going to include Bukkit. I just wanted to confirm that this is true, and if it is we should organize a protest because Bukkit is most of the reason all of us still play minecraft, and without it this game is really boring. TY and please reply.

Proof?

Mojang hired the Bukkit team back before 1.2 came out.

There'll be no need for Bukkit once Minecraft 1.4 is released.

1.3 will not have bukkit, 1.4 won't need bukkit...

The dev team of bukkit is maintaining it until the official version replaces it.

You sure about that? I expected Bukkit to be incorporated into MC back when the merger happened...If Bukkit is still a separate program, despite the fact that its devs now work for Mojang, I wouldn't assume that Bukkit functionality will be incorporated into MC itself at a later time.
