I was one day on minerelam traveling up north to gather some pines in a forest, when I went through a realm that caught my and my two observing friends attention. Now I could've gone around the realm, but it didn't dawn on me at the time. Now this realm had a peculiar name to it, "Sup Niggas" it was . So I thought it be polite to come on here on minerealm.com and message him peacfully bout his realms name. You know, have common sense bout it, ask the person if he would change the name. On March 09, 2012 I messaged the owner asking if he would kindly change the word "nigga" on the grounds I find it offensive. Today he sent me three messages. One saying "no", the second saying "It's my realm. I don't find the word offensive at all. Dont come into my realm, problem solved", and the third saying "And that's really childish that you seriously tracked me down on the forums just to be a pest a out a word."

I was shocked bout the 3rd message. I was childish about messaging him personally here when I don't know when he is on the server, and to be a pest about a word. Not just any word, the word nigga which in books and across the world today is listed as racist and offensive towards african americans. Now the reason I am making a deal out of this, is cause I have been recommending this server to my cousin who one day plans on joining a well mannered and enforced server before I stumbled upon that realm. She who in which is african american, and ontop of that. My cousins parents who was standing by my side as I gave them a tour of online minecraft, they was shocked when they saw the realm name, and the father lit up like a firecracker. Now I know to speak racial names/slurs in chat or in forums is punishable and not tolerated, but to have one as a realm name? Kinda makes me wonder if this will go unpunished/un-noticed. Or will action be taken on this.

Now making this forum does seem childish. But hey, I used my common sense to make a peaceful resolve about it. Only to get insulted by a 3rd message. I have posted a pic of this realm name, but blacked out his name and cords to keep him anonymous.

I don't believe they are allowed, but there is no filter for them because well, racial slurs vary quite widely unlike swearing. If you do get called a racial name or are the victim of a slur, take a screenshot of the comment and get the name of the user who said it. Post a ban request in the ban section of the forum and before doing so read the post about posting a ban request. I hope this will help.

Racial slurs are not allowed on this server, if you happen to be looking at this topic, whoever you are. Its suggested you removed the name, or be banned.

Okay so last night I replyied to his messages, and today he jumps all over me in messages, swearing and acussing me of having an inappropriate name. I thought it would be nice to keep him anonymous in all this, but he just pushed me over. So I will now divouge the name of the owner of this realm. Really ticked off at the momment cause of his message, quoting "Go ahead and post it somewhere you **** wanker. You're complaining about my realm message saying nigga and your name is **** xxxxfatty. You're an enigma, child."

So Kessel, if you are reading in the forums. Please change your realm name.

I will later this evening Rokk. The uneditted version of the first pic is on my laptop, and on this computer I am on at the moment. Minecraft crashes on it within a minute.
