Minerealm Community Forums

I am sure most of you have seen all of the pony alts on the forum lately.

Personally, I am really sick of it, and I bet a lot of you guys are too.

I think that there should be a rule against this kind of stuff. All these people are doing with their pony alts is posting mindless spam that no one wants to see.

I am requesting that someone with authority can put an end to this nonsense.

Bonejunky, while I also am sick of it, your futile attempts at trying to stop this widespread pony plague are in vain. Look what happened to 4chan and every other forum. If you show resistance, then in turn their efforts double. It's best just to try and ignore them.

Pony alts? Yes. Alts? Yes. Ponies? No.

Fully agreed, but unfortunately, the Chat section of the forum is pretty much intended for mindless spam that no one wants to see. I'd be happy if Chat was simply removed from the list of recent posts, so that the list only shows things related to minecraft/minerealm and ignores all the other junk (pony or otherwise).

I don't understand the pony thing. I guess I'm just old.

I agree with Intelli, posting new threads where you complain about something only encourages it by drawing attention it.
Chat threads allow for the discussion of other subjects that may or may not be related to specifically minecraft, but it does allow the minerealm community to share interests and exchange ideas and socialise.
Part of chat reflects current social trends and fads.
By allowing and accomadating different interests it helps to keep the minerealm community together and interacting with each other.
If you have an interest you wish to share, chat is the place for it, so why not start a thread on something that interests you, i.e. transformers, etc.
From there it may lead to possible in game projects such as pixel art, etc.

A little bit tolerance is needed, that is all.

Like Intelli said, it is like the thing with Justin Bieber. You hate him. But you tell your friends about it, he gets more haters= more interviews about haters= more interviews= more people that know about him end up being fans, so he gets more haters, etc....... you get what I mean?
