I'll be honest, but I'm kind of upset that my reputation dropped from a 7/10 to a 3/10. I work really hard on the server and on my realms, but then it just drops for reasons I don't know. All I did was post 4 topics on the Chat forums with pictures of my realm so others could see, and then I received complaints that I didn't put it into one post. In actuality, this would be impossible because I had more than three photos to show, and as you would know, each topic only allows you to upload 3 photos. It just doesn't make sense to me that my reputation would be lowered by this innocent action. The posts weren't offensive, and they sure weren't spam. Can someone please care to explain, in particular a staff member?

Forums do not directly affect your reputation score in any way. The only way they could lower it is if you get banned for something you did on the forums. Otherwise, your activity or lack thereof determines your rep.
Regarding the pics you posted, note how while they are still separate posts, they are now separate posts in the same thread.

Server reputation is basically based off of what you do on the server. The same concepts that will earn you a good reputation in real life is somewhat reflected onto the concepts that apply on the server.
Also, inactivity will drop your reputation. Mine dropped from 10/10 to 9/10 due to my 2 day absence.

Being offline for just one day will make your UR drop from 10/10 to 9/10 for about a week. This is based on my experience and might be a bit off.
Edit: Post #500

Meh i am a great community member and i love the server. I am also curious about how reputation grows?
Is it mainly just building actively?

-feels confused.

Bannings scar your reputation as well.
