Well, I know how bad this looks, and it was the only logical way to deal with it in the end.

I am appealing the ban granted by Agentred100 for apparent X-Raying. The evidence is rather stacked against me though. He found tunnels, seemingly dug at random, that commonly led to diamond. This I do not deny. He questioned me extensively about the situation, and had me escort him to the locations of a couple of my recent tunnels and questioned me further about the situation. I continued to deny what I was accused of. I know, FULL WELL, how bad this looks. All I can say is that I am innocent. Regardless of how bad it looked, it really was luck and simply knowing how to mine. Thats all I can say, and that I hope I can at least convince you of my innocence enough to not demonize me.

This is going up sooner than may be appropriate, but I do this as I know who I am and what I am guilty of. Regardless, I bear no ill-will over this, no matter how it turns out.

I went to edit this post a second time, but it wouldn't let me. Ergo, I am going to have to handle this in the following manner.

Looking at my appeal, paint myself as a victim of simple misunderstanding. I try to convince people I know are not imbeciles, that they are. I try, in essence, to do something that I despise greatly; gun for the sympathy vote. I apologize, firstly, for that.

I am guilty. Roughly the last 60 or so Diamond Ores are X-Rayed. It began last night (early morning) and ended rather abruptly with Agentred100 banning me. I literally lied through my teeth in a desperate, rather feeble attempt to persuade him of my innocence. I have apologized for that via PM already. I figured I could get away with a few ores, maybe more. I apologize to Minerealm for that.

If unbanned, which I know is unlikely, I will gladly allow all diamond ore in my possesion to be liquified. I would also consider all my credits forfeit. Should there be an imposed wait till the potential date of my unbanning, I would also comply with that without complaint or question. If I must wait until 5.0 is released, I will.

If it is any consolation, I can garantuee that any diamonds I have given away or sold were mined or purchesed legitamately.

If it is determined that I am not allowed to return (a possibility that is all too likely) at all then I am likely finished with Minecraft. This is not some whining threat of cyber-suicide. This is simply a fact. I have been with Minerealm for nearly 2 years, and have invested so much time and effort into the community and the server that losing it will put me at a loss for how to continue the game. I haven't played single player or on another server in months. Also, if denied re-entry, then I ask only to bow out gracefully, as I asked Staff once before.

Well that was... unexpected.

You have 2 things weighing against your unbanning:
-You know the rules, and the consequences
-You did attempt to lie

You have a stronger thing weighing FOR it:
-You admitted it, even if you were to deny it beforehand

BlockMan, don't even try to start flaming/trolling on a ban appeal, especially one that you have no clue about whatsoever.

A pretty serious offense... but if this is the first mistake you've made in two years on the server, hopefully your near-mint-condition record will tilt the scales in your favor. Hope you get unbanned

I think we should un-ban you and burn all your diamond.

Block, if you can refrain from trying to demonize me, I would appreciate it. I have been nothing but civil towards you. And as for how long I've been doing this, it's in the appeal. I am already caught, and lying was... counterproductive, not to mention against my values of owning up to ones mistakes.
As for burning my diamonds, if Staff deem it neccesary, I will comply.

Ryu Aurora is a nice guy, commonly helpful to new players and often adding to a good community.
Hopefully he will be unbanned soon, and that he then would take it is a warning.
