Why we banned NTC

After some conflict with a few members of NTC we had decided it was best to just ban everyone associated with them. NTC has been extremely troublesome in the past, and they crossed the line a bit as of late. If you'd like to be unbanned we would like you to disassociate yourself with NTC. If you have questions or concerns please feel free to leave them here.

I'm not quite sure if it's right to ban an entire faction because of conflict with "a few members". Innocent people were probably banned and I think that only the trouble causing players should be banned. There is no need to disassemble an entire faction based on the actions of a few people.

Well, since you asked for questions and concerns:
I think it was a bit far to immediately ban everyone associated with NTC. I do agree that we're better off without NTC, but banning players who didn't *personally* break rules seems to be a bit heavy-handed.
I'd have suggested (1) banning all troublemakers in NTC, (2) sending private messages to all remaining NTC members telling them to leave the faction or risk a ban, then (3) publicly stating that the faction is disbanding and (4) eventually banning any who refused to comply.
Of course, inviting NTC members to appeal their bans if they disassociate from the group accomplishes the same thing, albeit in a somewhat messier way with a number of possibly-unnecessary bans.

^ Prodigy, every post I read by you is well written and thoughtful. This is no exception.

I do hope at least some of the more active NTC players are allowed to come back soon enough.
I also think that if they are perma-banned, the realms should be bought by staff or NTC should decide who gets the realms.
I don't think it would be to good if their realms just went public, for various reasons.

This isn't fair at all. I did nothing wrong, and I deserve no ban.
As I recall, minecraft is a game, and we're all online to have fun... And because I have fun in a less troublesome way, I get a permaban for it? I sense a flaw in this picture

This is a rather extreme measure... Why punish everyone for something a few people out of the group did?

I think we need the staff to reply with exactly why such an extreme measure was taken :/
