mistaken ban

I had been on the server for a while, during the time when someone was placing a bunch of obsidian at the spawn. I had nothing to do with this, but was actually mining obsidian for my own use near my own realm. I had mined quite a lot, and was moving it to another chest when I suddenly got banned. My friends on Skype said that the ban had been for griefing, because tgebbia had seen the obsidian in my inventory apparently. He then was apparently accusing everyone in our realm of being from a well known griefing group. He also somehow thought that my friend R2Bl3nd (who goes by 'Random' on these forums), who was trying to defend my ban by telling tgebbia that he was not from "the group", that none of us were, and that he could prove it by talking on skype and showing that we were not the people he confused us for.

I'm not sure if anyone else is banned, and I have no idea who did all of the griefing. I hope tgebbia's status as a mod can come into question, as I believe he acted too quickly an irrationally by tryingto ban everyone based on a fluke suspicion. I do admit that what was in my inventory could be considered suspicious, but I think an immediate ban was not warranted, let alone accusing everyone in my realm, who are my friends, of being in a griefing group.

I hope that I can come back soon, since this was a server that I've played on for quite a while and had lots of fun on. Thanks for reading.

In referance to Spawn City, there is alot of griefing. However, I also removed some of the randomly placed obsidian. People seem to think its funny to place them around the area at random intervals. I say unban him.

Protip- Announce that you are removing randomly placed blocks next time. I do this, and have yet to encounter problems.

There has been a thread by the griefer, thinking he has succeeded & thinks he's aVo.

Now unban this innocent man.

I understand your concern bbj, and you will undoubtedly be unbanned, but I was the only mod on the server at the time of the incident and needed to act quickly to remove the griefer. I was stressed and had not dealt with a situation of this caliber before and was scrambling to use what powers I could to dispose of the pest. The fact that you had obsidian in your inventory at the time was suspicious enough because you could have easily /home'd back to your realm so in my opinion location didn't matter, it was what was in your inventory which was consistent enough to ban you. Also the griefing appeared to stop afterwards so it seemed right. I apologize for your wrongful ban and Slicmi's wrongful ban, but I don't think my job as a servant of the realm will come under question for doing what I did under those circumstances.

It's funny because it later turned out he was the griefer. So much for you bleeding hearts, eh?
