I was recently banned for apparently duplicating items, when i for one was not the one who duplicated the items. However i DO admit taking these duplicated items, but i did not know they were duplicated. someone in chat said "giving a huge donation to anyone that owns a store or needs some materials" i was the first one who messaged him. Later we met up in trade and to my surprise, he gave me all of these items. i cannot remember the exact username but his username was something along of fifa_lover12. i know for a fact that the user had "fifa" in his name but i cant remember the exact username. i was planning on writing his username down because he didnt have enough time to give me everything, so right when he logged off, i planned on typing /reply to send a message and have it say "fifa_____ is not online" then write it down but someone had already pmed me and i lost the username. I tried importing the video and such to imovie of me burning all these things but for some reason, i am getting problems with my imovie as i had my screen recorder on, on accident during the time of me burning these items. since i had it on on accident it was running for more than 4 hours. Anyways, LM108 gave me a warning and told me that i had to burn these items otherwise i would receive a ban. i did burn these items and i still got a ban. if you can.. please unban me. i would really hate to lose all the items i actually worked for. I didn't expect to get banned for taking these items from someone, as i did not know they were duped beforehand.. i'm sorry for taking these items as i know i should've known these were duped, however i am fairly new to minecraft itself and did not know the rarity of these items.. i only joined minerealm a week or so ago. please consider this and give me a second chance at one of the greatest servers in minecraft. even the greatest server.

You knew the golden apples were rare enough to warrant a 5,000 minimum price, which you asked for when you tried to sell 2 of them.

i didn't know they were rare.. i thought they were just worth a lot because they were good. as i posted in the sale of them, i said that i found out i had no use for it. and by good i meant as in they had a lot of uses like to build or something

He just provided an example. The "or something" opens it up to a wider array of uses.

I don't see why we're arguing over whether or not he knew they were duped. He's been banned for possession of duped items and is appealing on the grounds that he burned them after being told to. Seeing as S2 was the one who banned him, this should be a quick unban if Lm logs on and can confirm the story.

thanks for clarifying this cogo.. this pretty much summed up half my ban appeal in a few sentences.

You were banned for this reason:
You had just under one million credits worth of duplicated items in your inventory. When you were asked to burn them before by a member of staff, you didn't and then proceeded to carry them through a PvP zone where anyone could of taken them.
How these items were made and who by is still in question, although it will be investigated into further later on. If your story checks out to be correct and the items are removed you most probably will be unbanned. For the reason that you did not destroy the items immediately when told to, rather put them at risk of damaging the servers economy in a considerable way by walking through the nether holding them, I locked your account out of the server until a Admin/Owner can remove the items manually and find where they came from.

Summary: On the spot of seeing your ban request and the information in it. I deemed you as too greater risk to be carrying that value of duped items and not destroying them when ordered by a member of staff.

Edit: Due to the nature of this, and how the only this user is involved. I am going to say only Staff/Lizzy post here please.

That's odd, because you were caught by having them in your inventory when you got killed. Bad liar lies badly.

this is the mistake here s2, i was told to burn these items after i died in the nether. if i didn't die in the nether, no one would've found out about these items. so what im saying is, how would anyone see these items (including LM) see these items before i got killed in the nether? after plane killed me, he sent this picture to some of his friends and notified an admin about it THEN LM told me to burn it. i burned it the second LM told me to burn it
EDIT: everyone is misunderstanding this, long story short : had the items, went in nether, died, plane screened, sent to friends, told mod, then got notified to burn. which i did

Story
1. Had Dupe Items
2. Went to Nether
3. Got Killed
4. Plane Screened
5. Plane Reported
6. LM Told Lizzy To Burn Items
7. Lizzy Did

Result: No Ban
