I was standing on a big pile of wood, and chopped my way down it. About mid way, I received a ban for flying. I don't use mods, hacks, or hackey mods, or even moddy hacks so this came as somewhat of a surprise. I was hoping to be unbanned so that I could continue to chop wood at my convenience, and not flying.

Dude, relax. The admins are all volunteers, they're not on 24-7. Your appeal will be noticed, there's not only no need to bump it multiple times per day, that's actually counterproductive and seen as a bad thing. When it drops to the third or fourth page it's ok to bump it.

Here I am, pouring my heart out poetically, and someone has to go and try to stifle me. You cannot stifle creativity or artistic endeavors, sir. Poems will sustain me while I await the verdict.

Nobody's trying to stifle you. Might I suggest instead creating a poetry thread in chat? Write poems, drink tea, meet the regulars...and in the mean time the mods won't yell at you for over-bumping and being impatient. Indeed, your biggest problem at the moment is that you won't wait and come across somewhat entitled; your appeal is coherent, your story seems reasonable, and overall you present yourself well, at least in my opinion.

Heh, thanks. I really was just joking about the stifling part, taking a pretentious role can be fun. Anyways, I am just trying keep in good humor about things.

On a serious note, this is a nice server but there are others, and I am beginning to feel a lack of commitment since I am so new (if I even owned a realm, I would probably feel different.). I guess it is might be time to move on soon. I planned on giving it a day, and day of ban for a glitch is too long anyways. It is indicative of the sort of resolution any problem gets here. I am guessing this place is just understaffed or there has been serious problems with folks lying and such.

Either way, I'll wait it out the full 24 hours and head over to another one. A pity really, as I said, this is a nice server with great coding. The people here seem to be great. See you on the flippity-flop
