You can ask a mod or admin in game to roll back the damage to check who did it.

Well they ran up to me and set fire to the tile in front of me and almost killed me, then chased me trying to do it again.

it was on a public realm and i don't have pvp on... soul_knight witnessed it

I was NOT flying, I was building a TOWER, goto the realm you will see 4 SUPER tall towers

I'm sorry to hear that. Maybe you shouldn't place fire blocks directly in front of people as they are moving forward 
Anyway, I'm sorry you got banned although you got banned for a totally different reason. Banning you wasn't my goal unless you do it again
