I have been banned, presumably as a result of the new gold mining algorithm. I firmly believe this ban to be incorrect, as I have never, and will never, use any sort of hack against this server. Indeed, I have not even bothered to acquire any mods for Minecraft, either single player or multiplayer. I invite the mods and admins of this server to investigate my mines, which they will find to be colossal and methodical, as well as at a height conducive to finding many of the rarer materials.

I further invite them to check my chests, where they will find somewhere around four (three?) stacks of gold, the overwhelming majority of it still in the form of unsmelted ore. I think that this will speak for itself, as no x-rayer would leave their ill-gotten goods in raw form.

Out of all of the ban appeals I have ever seen, this one is the most surprising. If anyone deserves to be unbanned, it's Aelcalan. He is one of the most cool-headed and dedicated players I've ever had the pleasure of knowing, and I can't imagine he'd ever do anything against the server.

Did you ever place / re-mine the unsmelted gold? If so, that could have tripped the script.
