I was banned about 10 mins ago but I am not quite sure what I was banned for. I assume it was griefing but I wasn't actually griefing anyone.

I was digging away at the bottom hunting for diamond when I turned around to place a torch and noticed a player behind me called savesthedazed. I said Hi and was banned just after.

I figured I might have been banned for griefing as I used a mineshaft I found which had been made by someone else to get down to the bottom of the would where I started digging for diamonds. I thought it was ok as there was no signs on the walls anywhere claiming that any of the land I travelled on or was digging on was owned by another player.

If that wasn't the reason then I really don't know what I was banned for and would like this outlined to me.

I feel I have been unfairly banned for the above violation and so would like to appeal against this. I love playing on this server even thought i've only been playing a few day. I would like to appoligize for any rule violations and dammages I have caused.

Oh, and can anyone tell me how long it usually takes to unban someone after the appeal is posted. I am online now and I wan't to play!

It looks like you were banned for xraying.

Your name came up repeatedly and regularly for finding diamonds. When I TPed to you, you had long, unlit tunnels characteristic of someone using X-Ray hacks.

Odd thing is, with 1.8 you can see perfectly without torches. Don't get me wrong, it seems like he was definitely xraying, but I could probably create a long mine/tunnel without torches without having problems. :/

Look, im new to minecraft. I have only been playing a couple of weeks and only a couple of days on this server.

I don't have a clue what x-raying is, I was just digging.

Is there any chance I can be unbanned please.

And can some explain to me what x-raying is.

Please unban me. I really want to get back on this server!

In 1.8, you can turn the brightness to bright, and see deep underground. Someone I know kept getting diamond and no lava repeatedly, and they don't know how to install mods.

Hippo, thats the position I was in.

I was just digging long tunnels and didn't bother lighting them as I would have needed lots of torches. Because of this it must have looked like I knew the location of diamonds and just dug straight towards them, but that wasn't the case.

I hope a moderator or admin see's this soon, the wait is killing me.

I have already appealed about my ban once and I fell that I have been ignored as no-one has really got back to me.

I have only been told what I have done wrong and not if there's a chance I could be unbanned.
I would really like to be unbanned so I can carry on playing so can someone get back to me.
