Hello, i'd like to clear my name and give my side of the story
I was banned from the Minerealm server - This is MY account of what happened
and a request to be Un-Banned

1. a newbie(cant remember his name... id know it if i saw it)
entered the server and asked to "join someones mine"
after constantly asking over and over again - I decided to help them out (by making a NEW one)
2. I typed /spawn, found this person, picked a direction and began walking
I explained to them
"you have to find public land to build on, once you place 1000 blocks you can buy it"

3. we walked until the chat bar said "you have entered public land"
i typed /realm and it said that i was able to build there, and i was

Almost immediately after digging 4-7 blocks i was confronted by
KingofTurves + trigerhappy191
they said "you are grieving" and "this land was claimed"
me: "this is public land, if you want to "claim" it, why didn't you purchase it?
trigerhappy: "didn't you see the sign? i claimed it"

i have been in this server for about 2 1/2 months, i've never heard about "claiming" land i only knew about realm purchasing after 1000 blocks had been removed or placed

What you didnt hear from trigerhappy: After being confronted i immediately left, i didn't build any more. I was followed by trigerhappy through multiple other realms, i was chased up a tower which i jumped off of breaking my legs, he continued pursuit, it was night and i thought i had lost him so i stopped walking, he was right behind me pouring lava which would've killed me had i not heard the burning of his flesh, he had tried to kill me and failed which is why i said (in his screenshot) "you can't kill me bitch, this is survival"

my defense :
1. i hardly read ANY forums, and was unaware of any way to "claim" land/except using /realm purchase
2. the /realm command told me i was building on public land, i didn't see any sign
3. After being confronted i immediately left the realm
4. There is of course no way to prove that i was hunted and almost burned - unless fire damage is recorded, you will see him hurt himself a few min after he told me to leave, my damage was self-inflicted(fall) while trying to lose him in the woods

Closing statement: I enjoy Minerealm a great deal and find it to be one of the better "no-whitelist" servers
From day 1 on this server i have done nothing but create useful public facilities, and help new players.
I feel my actions were justified, i have no history of griefing, and i was almost killed.
So, please un-ban me.

Seems like a quality appeal, you aren't the only one to cuss on minerealm and he did actually try to lava you, I advise that when/ if you get unbanned you should re-read the rules at spawn.

Although land can be "claimed" without purchase, the party claiming it has to label it very clearly. Although what you are saying does sound quite good I have to ask if you have any evidence at all to back your side of the story up? Beyond that, what evidence did the other side present to get you banned?
