Hello all, my name is jpstew7794, and I was banned on account of griefing another player, fndfilms, a rule violation that I admit to and am very sorry for. The reason being was that I had been griefed myself just before I was caught, with roughly 20 blocks of iron and 7 blocks of gold being stolen from my chest. In my anger and inability to find any trees (I was near spawn, and I didn't know how to get out to the wilderness), I instead decided to steal from fndfilm's tree farm, where he caught me in the act. In an attempt to reconcile with fndfilms, I gave him all of the credits that I had earned, roughly 1,300, (it was my first day on the server so it wasn't much) and repeatedly apologized, expressing my guilt in sinking so low as to wreck his tree and wheat farm which I had no right in breaking into. After a few exchanged messages, it seemed he had partially forgiven me, as he told me he would not have me banned, but rather he would list the offense and let me off with a severe warning, something I was initially very grateful for. However, after some thought, I asked fndfilms to ban me, as I felt I could not trust myself on the server, and I would just be tempted to grief again.

Now, however, I can honestly say that, if given another second chance, I will have a clean slate as long as I am on the server, and will do all that I can to help this awesome server, one that is filled with respectful users and helpful admins. Just ask and I will help to improve the server, either by building or gathering materials.

I will completely understand if you deny me a second chance, as I griefed intentionally, and I realize I had no just reason to do so.

I would whole-heartedly rejoice in a second chance, and I promise that if given that second chance, I will not let the admins down.

p.s. fndfilms, if you are reading this, know that I will do all that I can to help you in the future, simply ask and I will help you. I am very sorry for what I did and I hope that we can put this behind us and continue on as friends.

Also, as a side note, a block was broken when someone stole my stuff. Is breaking blocks recorded on this server?

Yes, there is block logging.
When you are griefed, do not fix the griefed blocks.
The best thing to do is wait patiently for a moderator or an admin.

Oh, crud. I did fix it.

Anyway I'm going to assume that since It's been a day and my appeal hasn't been given verdict either way, its either ignored or denied.

After its been ignored for a couple more days you can give up hope. Just one day might mean the admins are busy. Or it could be the fact that you keep bumping your own thread. That is sort of frowned on.

Hey Jpstew, so considering I banned you I suppose I'll post. Your maturity is odd to me, because we do not see it very often. You willingly handed yourself in (assuming your story is true) and realize there are consequences for your actions. Next time you are griefed please notify a mod or admin, because we can check who placed/destroyed blocks. Your appeal is sincere and responsible. I will be talking with fnd to assure this story is true, and not fictional.

Thanks for taking the time to read it, and I can assure you I'm sincere, I felt guilty causing fndfilms that trouble.
