I'm new to this server, we'll this is my first smp server ever played and I thought i have been abiding to the rules so far. What I'm trying to say is that I am totally confused and I am here to appeal for my banned. I really don't have a reason to be unbanned since i am unaware of what i did wrong. So Please if someone can help I really enjoyed playing in this server.

Ps. I know i am in no position to demand anything but wouldn't it be better to give us the reason why we are being banned, just a suggestion.

UPDATE: I just found out what you meant by x-ray mine tunneling.
It happens to be that the mini map that was on my top right corner wasn't part of the game, it was a mod my friend had on my computer before I bought the game. So since I bought my minecraft I kept using the same minecraft launcher my friend used when he introduced me to the game. After some arguing with my friend I removed everything and installed a fresh copy of the minecraft launcher. Due to my stupidity I have now ended server-less, so for my final appeal; I am truly sorry for what I did(unintentionally) and I seek to be forgiven, I also take full responsibility for what happened. I should have been more careful knowing that I have a really smart mischievous friend.
Let me know if there is anything i can do to undo the damage i have done to the whole community, because i know a single act can affect many.
I am sorry if i sounded ignorant and that i seemed to try to avoid the fact that i was hacking/modding or whatever u guys call it, which i was but it was unintentionally.
I truly apologize for my mistakes.

EDIT: Can someone be kind enough and let me know if I have a chance or no chance at all getting back on the server. I have given you all the information on what has happened so please based on my appeal, what is the verdict?

Yeah im actually new to minecraft itself i just bought it around no more than 3 weeks ago.

Did you actually check to see who mined the blocks or did you just assume it was him since it was his mine?

I am asking because a common tactic of people using xray packs to mine would be to use someone else's mine since it is very obvious if an xray person has been working a mine.

The coordinates seem to be around the border of the map were i recently arrived before getting banned.

Admins and Mods can now check the complete log history of any individual block, even if there is nothing place there at the time. I'm assuming panthers or whoever banned him checked the tunnels themself and not the general, if there was one, mining area.

Yes, I know they can check the blocks themselves. However, I just wanted to know if the admin/mod who banned him looked at multiple of the tunnels, or just a few blocks from one. If someone makes a mining shaft, its common practice among xrayers to just walk down the shaft and pick out the easy things that the tunnel just misses. It's low effort and there would be only a small number of blocks with the xrayer's name attached to them, while the legit mine owner would probably take the blame.

Oh I was the one that found this. The thought of foul play came to my mind when I found a chest in an unprotected realm with 74 diamonds, little Iron and little gold. Then I stumbled accross a hole that went deep into the ground, it had no torches in it and was a twisted and windy corridor in a 1x1 space, it seemed to go on for quite a while.

S2 was the moderator who investigated the incident and checked the blocks that had been mined aswell as the person who placed the chests.
