Ban Request: Spammables

Hello - Recently the player 'Spammables' (formerly edh2015) has been harassing trusted, long time players using the newly implemented 'player locator bar'.

The climax of this harassment happened when he killed Soul_Knight who was, at the time, AFK in a private plot during the mist. This ended up in Soul losing his Elytra. This may sound impossible, as it is thought that AFK players are deemed invincible, even during the mist, however they lose this status if they are slightly nudged by any other player.

When confronted about this, Spammables refused to fight anyone, claiming that he was "too weak". I will admit that I placed a lava bucket at his feet in the Overworld which could be seen as illegal pvp, but I only did this once for half a second at max. Spammables then returned the favor by trying to explode xShockWavex and myself with a Respawn anchor (which blow up when right clicked 4 times with Glowstone). To his dismay, this did not work, but I believe it outweighs what I did in every way possible.

He then logged off, keeping his stolen wings to himself.

To add: back in his most active years, Spammables is suspected to have X-Rayed a ton of Netherite, another very difficult material to obtain on MineRealm. This was never proven, but almost every veteran player that was around at the time seems to have the same consensus.

I, along with many other players, believe that Spammables should be banned because of 2 counts of illegal PVP(trying to kill shock and myself, and killing an AFK player), as well as suspected X-Raying for Netherite (ancient debris).

I would also hope that a ban here would constitute a rollback of Soul_Knight's entire lost inventory.

My "No" vote is only if we know that they aren't using any hacks.
Shock can ban if any x-raying or killing against rules or harassment is proven. He hasn't, suggesting that Spammables hasn't been proven to do anything bannable yet.

1. The server is built around PvP, whether we like it or not (And that's coming from somebody with 1 kill to their name in my 10+ years)

2. Looting an Elytra from a killed player isn't against the rules. It's dickish, but it's not against the rules. He killed Soul Knight while they were AFK during mist. Dickish, but not against rules.

3. The player locator bar is part of the game, whether we like it or not. It's a dumb system, but there are in-game ways to disable your dot (wearing a mob skull or carved pumpkin). https://minecraft.wiki/w/Locator_Bar

4. Refusing to fight isn't against rules. It's also dickish, but not against the rules.

5. Attempting to Player Kill unsuccessfully is also not against the rules - including your lava bucket. From what I'm reading, only "Killing people with PvP off" is.

6. Never having been proven XRay mining ancient debris isn't bannable. I myself have mined an enormous amount of ancient debris for a project - likely more than most others (419 according to my statistics). That doesn't mean I was XRaying to do it.

7. Rollbacks of inventory aren't a thing as far as I know.

They're a dick. But that's not necessarily a bannable offense.
The stolen Elytra seems to now have been returned.
There has been some question about their fortitude during the fight in the End to retrieve the Elytra. Shock is looking into that as well, I believe.

------------

When there's a PvPer on the server. Be sure not to AFK in the open. Be sure to stow any gear you'd prefer not to lose when going into the Nether or when the mist hits. Have some kind of anti-PvP panic room near your /home. Make sure you /map so your location isn't shown on the map. And consider wearing a mob skull to disable location bar. There are defenses.

*EDIT*
I've been told the netherite incident was a 'stack' of netherite blocks. Which is an astronomical amount. I'd be surprised if that amount of ancient debris has been mined in the whole of the server. My 419 debris would add up to just over 11 blocks and it took me like a month of mining.

1. I love pvp
2. No it isn't
3. Yes it is
4. Correct
5. It's the thought that counts
6. This much in so little time is insane, and like I said, it was speculation that was NEVER looked into in the past for some reason
7. Yes they are

Killing afk players is against the rules and is an (unsuccessfully) programmed feature to the server
AFK Spot shouldn't matter, it was a bug that was abused to gain an unfair advantage
