Hi,

I was banned a minute ago for illegal pvp. The last couple of weeks I (and other members of the same realm) have been harassed by numerous Vortex members who would try to follow me into a build while they were using an invisibility potion. I decided to put down some lava in order to persuade them to stop doing so. Unfortunately, one of the invisible people following me at that point in time decided to stand in the lava. Luckily, he logged out in time and was able to get his items back.

You may wonder why I didn't go to staff in order to solve this issue. Well, I did, not too long ago I contacted Kerovon about exactly the same issue. He advised me to take actions along the lines of what was mentioned in the previous paragraph.

So here's the actual appeal part. I don't like to have to deal with this kind of stuff. I also don't want to be in a situation where I'm illegal pvping people and I regret that it happened. I also would like the harassment to stop. I don't know why they are targeting us, or maybe they just do this to people in general, but it has gotten to the point where I start taking questionable action that gets me banned.

Sounds like there is more to this then said but from whats been said I dont think V shouldve been banned for dropping lava down on a plot he had access to. If the other stalkers had access as well then the plot owner should have a say in the matter as well if he thought V should be banned for it...

There is more to it that what has been posted or said at all. I'm just not entirely sure where to begin.

Yes you were indeed banned for illegal pvp(of course we all know this), but they rest of your story is just a story at best.

The main issue with everything is this part right here. I even told you in-game I didn't want to hear excuses or lying. Did you contact Kerovon about said issue? The answer of course is yes but the details are quite skewed. You never mentioned you were harassed nor did you specify the issue. All you asked was "do you have a good suggestion for getting invis people out of your realm?" Now Kerovon did give you a response but he never said you could put down lava he said "if it wasn't at spawn, i would say "accidentally" spill lava everywhere" Now when he told you this I'm guessing you didn't understand what he was saying but in short you can't lava people near spawn. Not to mention using this as an excuse is invalid as you asked him in February and this happened in May. So that's over 3 months you didn't contact us saying you were being harassed. That's hardly not to long ago.

So in short, you didn't contact staff, you are using something which you were told not to do as a crutch which doesn't justify you placing it anyway. You claimed you were placing lava down to help with prevent people from glitching in said issue(which as I said isn't allowed) yet you magically happened to place said lava in the corner right where he was standing at that exact moment. As I said in game there is no way that was a coincidence.

Even if you were legally lavaing him, there are steps to this. Which you took none of. You are supposed to warn them several times including pm. Also which you should be confronting staff about it. None of which you did which is surprising seeing as you are a previous staff member I would expect you'd know these rules quite well. With that said you need to appeal your other account to even consider an unban.

Overall a lot of this situation could of easily been avoided if you just contacted staff with the issue. Which is why I don't get why this even lasted so long as you were still staff during this occurrence why didn't you resolve it then?
