A few months ago, I was banned for using X-ray hacks. However, I was not using those hacks. The only indication that could have caused that conclusion, was when i said to my friend- "I found diamonds." That made me think that if staff found in chat that someone found a diamond, they would be banned. I highly recommend not keeping me banned because I did nothing wrong and wanted to make a diamond pickaxe... which apparently, I'm not allowed to have. Thank you for reading my appeal!

This is the cavern before you arrived ... I have cut myself a small hidey hole in the wall to allow me to take the screenshot.


This is the cavern with dirt walls that I've put in to remove lava in the area where the diamond ore is - note the dirt wall is 2 blocks high, so the diamond was hidden under 2 lava blocks.

This is the cavern as viewed from my hidey-hole after your mining work ... unfortunately a rollback operation has returned a lot of the lava that you removed, hiding the work that you did, but what was clearly evident to me at the time was that you entered the cavern and immediately removed lava from above the diamond ore location only. Note the cobble that still remains. You obviously targeted that diamond ore and left as soon as you had recovered it. There is no way you could have known that the ore was there without using an Xray hack / resource pack.

If you have ever looked up how to find diamonds on YouTube, you will find that they can have a high chance of spawning under lava. Once I had found the diamond, I took it, and it filled my inventory, so I left- but then got banned.

The problem isn't the fact you found the diamond under the lava, it's how you found it. You had a suspicious vein just prior to this one that you managed to find. Then you dug directly to that lava pit from the other diamonds and then proceeded to fill in the lava lake almost simultaneously after digging through the wall without hesitation(This was done by checking the time logs of all the blocks.) So from our stand point you dug from one diamond directly to another and then filled in the lake without even diving in.

Now I know you are probably going to say well I filled it in to check. But the problem with that statement is you had passed several other lakes prior to this one and didn't touch any of them. Now of course you would probably go with "Well I checked those" but either way you have to admit this is extremely suspicious.

You have mined a total of 19 diamond ore. Even with a Fortune III pick, that would only return a total of 42 diamonds based on an average For III return of 2.2 diamonds per ore. It's therefore highly unlikely that you had a full stack of diamonds which "filled (your) inventory" so this statement doesn't ring true either.

if I may, from past experience and observations, your current path is simply going to end up with you being permabanned. If you truly want to return to the server I would suggest admitting to what you did, apologising for it, and offer to make amends upon your return. doing so will give you a much greater chance of getting unbanned.

Alright, man. I guess I can admit what I did. I'm really sorry and promise to not do that again. I just really want to get back on and play with my friend who live pretty far away, so I never really get a chance to see him. I would appreciate it if you could let me get back on. I would also suggest getting a no- hack plugin for the server. Thx.

We have our own system, and all our plugins are custom. It's simple don't hack and you won't get banned.

So, what does this mean for me? I just want to get on as soon as I can to play with my friend. I can vote for the server if you would like.
