I was banned today for botting. I have a G15 keyboard and was botting. I been a long time member and did not think that this was causing harm to anyone, i was in my plot but not doing harm to anyone. My purpose was being lazy of staying logged on. If I am not allowed to return due to this I understand but if I am unbanned I will no longer use this feature of the G15 keyboard.

I have to ask, Twitterberry ... why were you standing in the middle of nowhere and punching every 30 seconds?

Teejay, that is my plot. I was working on organizing the chests and had to go to work. I figured it could not hurt to set a macro with the G15 until i got back but i was very wrong.

I realise it was your plot - what I mean by "the middle of nowhere" is that you were just standing in the middle of a bunch of chests, not at a grinder or anything that you could actually interact with. Were you under the impression that you would be kicked if you went AFK and did not move every once in a while?

yes, I have stayed AFK in the past and have been booted offline. I assumed it was ok since i was not harming the game or anyone.

Ah - that's what I was wondering. MineRealm does not presently have an auto-kick script for AFK players, so using a macro to keep you active in-game doesn't help in any way. Any disconnects you experienced would simply have been normal MineCraft derpiness.

I would screenshot and post the error msg i have gotten in the past but i dont have it. It was some kind of excemption error or something. When i did the macro with the g15 i did not get that error. So i thought it would be ok to keep using it.

He has an auto gold and egg farm in the same area that he was gathering while he was afk.

I do have farms, to the right you will see my sheep, pigs and cows too. but the main reason was because i did not want to close out the game. According to what tj said it is not illegal to be AFK. What got me in trouble here is that i used a G15 macro to left click every little while because due to past experiences i was under the impression that i would get logged off. Stop trying to get me banned if this is your goal i feel sad for you. I am a good player and i dont bother anyone.
