Okay, so a few months ago my friends and I got on to minerealm to find our realms bought by another person. We were pretty angry since we had spent a good two months of playing time on these realms. They had a few stacks of diamonds, all the discs, stuff like that. Well I was obviously enraged and I tried to ask staff if they could help, but to no avail, I quit minerealm for a while. As the year went on I couldn't find many other servers so I went on my beloved minerealm to start over. This time I went as FAR away from civilization as possible, before settling down. Here a few friends of mine settled down as well and all was well. This is where we found an abandoned house with a sign that read something like, "Hey, I left the server enjoy the house!" We started exploring around the house to find an amazing view because of how the house stood on a mountain. My friend and I (26bolder) were creating an observatory and we saw many broken down buildings. This was sort of gross to look at so we went down to destroy them considering they were just scattered blocks making up ruins. We went to destroy them and when we reached one house, as we were just goofing off and destroying blocks a person spawned in next to us. I instantly panicked thinking he would report us for griefing because I had previously destroyed a few chests, so I logged out. Looking back that was definitely not the right thing to do and I regret it. This led to a ban and I gave up for a while once again.

I want to get back on the server because this is one of my favorite servers, and i'm done with griefing, and doing things that could possibly be suspicious. No more illicit activities, and I will plant myself FAR FAR away from civilization as to never even be TEMPTED to do anything. I promise, and I hope you guys will at least give me a chance considering I actually am I guess a veteran and have played this server since early 2011.

It's not that I have anything to say about your ban, but you seemed to have missed an important point. There is no longer any FAR FAR away in the game. There are abandoned structures almost everywhere. So, where you start will not solve your temptation problem. At this point, you pretty much ought to be explaining how you've become mature enough to show patience and contact staff when you want to remove an abandoned building. If staff is suspicious that you're going to revert back to your old form of play, you're not going to get unbanned.

You're right, that's basically what I should have said because FAR away doesn't work with a random teleport at spawn. After these months of no minecraft I am pretty desperate, I truly do apologize. I mean this is the best server, if I didn't absolutely love it I wouldn't try so hard to explain myself, and prove that i'm worthy. I promise to never do anything wrong, and help new people who have questions, or are struggling. The fact I was tempted really is gone considering I was banned because of it, thank you for bringing this up cgfirecoral

I'm here to build, not destroy. Make friends, not foes. Help not hurt. Give instead of take. I'm here saying this IS the only minecraft server I really enjoy, and i'm willing to do anything to stay on and help others. I forgot to add this into the appeal, and thank you.
