Hello,

So I was just strolling through the woods and came across what seemed like an abandoned little shack. All I did was take an empty chest and crafting table and was under the impression that it was abandoned? Two minutes later I was banned. I guess I am not familiar with the rules on this type of play on my part, but evidently it is ban-worthy. In regards to that then, I apologize and will return the two said items as well as refrain from such behavior. Again, a misunderstanding and an honest mistake. Thank you for your consideration.

You were indeed banned for dismanteling a seemingly abandoned structure. Even if something looks like it is abandoned you should not start breaking it without staff permission. People destroying structures will be seen as griefers, especially if they look like they are doing it without any good intentions.

You seemed to spend your time on the server removing some blocks from structures and then moving on to the next. You don't seem to have built any house/base of your own either (not that I could find anyway).

Hello and thank you for the timely reply. You are right from what you can tell it would appear like I was running around not making my own stuff. I played a lot last summer and all of those realms I was "running around in" used to be mine but disbanded. You can ask Aelcalan. I was trying to clean them up before I purchased them again since people had put random tall cobblestone pillar eye sores around it. I was actually just about to go purchase my realms back before I was banned. I dont know if there is a way to check to see how many credits I have, but I assure you I have put in time on this wonderful server.

Regardless of whether or not you owned the area prior, you should of consulted with staff if you wished to remove/purchase anything in the area. Just because it might be half destroyed or be a pillar you could be potentially helping other griefers hide, and destroying someone's home further who hasn't been able to login.

Okay thank you. I really do understand the policy minerealm enforces about this type of play; you are simply trying to maintain the most fair server by being sensitive to griefing in hopes to cultivate and promote the user's desire to be creative and build--exactly what the game is designed for. I acknowledge that and actually commend all the staff and intelli for being diligent to preserve this type of encouraging gameplay. With that being said, it would never be my intention to take anything away from that unique experience, nor be insensitive to other users and their creations. I honestly think this is an awesome server and would never intentionally do anything to jeopardize my privileges to play. I apologize for the occurrence, and I will first consult administrators in the future with similar requests before moving blocks. Again, thank you for your quick responses.
