Just tried to log on to the server as per usual, and I see that I am banned. According to Rokkrwolf I looted from a local place in the area, TJAW25 -4025 67 4506, which is located in a fairly heavily griefed area. After cleaning up a random cobblestone tower, I noticed a small griefed base underneath the nearby bridge. Upon investigation, it was quite apparent that much of the small base was already missing and I assumed it was abandoned.
After removing several blocks here and there, I thought to check the two players names to determine whether they were still relatively active or not. They had been on several days before; therefore, I left the base alone and used /home. I would have thought to have a staff member check the blocks for me, but it didn't occur to me as staff wasn't active on the server at the time.
I only removed some wood planks and a single redstone block, which I would gladly return to the owners.

Whether a base is abandoned or in use, it is still not okay to grief or loot it without staff permission. Also,

Staff probably won't respond until a certain time has passed based on how severe they believe what you've done to be.

Yeah, I kinda figured as much. Guess I'll just have to sit tight.
