He was underground, trying to grief and steal from a chest and he saw me and tried to bribe me.

Looks pretty damning. I take pleasure in Knowing I killed him and got his armor and ore before he gets banned.

Not really too damning in my opinion. He was simply seen under the surface digging over an area where a chest happened to be, and happened to throw a pickaxe to Gamea. I didn't see much bribery. If you'd snuck and followed and got it longer, with him excavating more chests or going into a chest room, I might see it.

You seem to have the "it was all a coincidence" view towards this.

I have the "not enough evidence" view.

I'll just say, I saw Pan the guy with the universal troll skin, digging in that exact same corner of spawn, the day all Administration was on. I doubt that an Admin witnessed the guy, since he wasn't doing anything bannable either, but, coincidence does go a long way sometimes.

Like Cortes and the Aztecs. Coincidence does happen. You need concrete evidence to get a ban.
