Some more detail about your offense might help. That said, why did you think griefing was okay in the first place? If you were aware of the rules, why didn't you follow them? If you weren't aware of the rules, why weren't you?

I followed you around for a while warning you and your greifing buddy that greifing and looting is bannable. You two completely ignored anything that I said. I even watched you dig straight down through the floor of a house at X: 2720 Y:66 Z: 1068, which you and your buddy proceeded to break glass and set the place on fire (btw fires don't spread on here).
