I have been banned for griefing, and I am sincerely sorry for it.
It was a misunderstanding. I used the random teleporter to go to a random location, some house in a faraway place. It was a private realm, so I ran off to find public land in which I could begin my mining expedition. On my way off of the realm, I found an chest right outside of the border of the realm. I looked in it, it was empty. Thinking I would require this while tunneling to maybe store my jewels and coal and whatnot, I broke it. Upon breaking it, I was banned.

I was not aware of this rule, and am sincerely sorry for what happened and the inconvenience I may have caused.
Chammiefication went on this mining expedition with me (he was no more than 30 blocks away from me when I was banned) and can vouch for the fact that I did not cause any harm to any structures in the vicinity.

Many other members of the community can vouch for my integrity and lack of vehemence or offensiveness to others.
Thank you for considering my ban appeal, and I hope I will be unbanned soon.

You should keep up with the current affairs of the server!

It seems very straightforward, so unless there is some shattering new evidence proving you are some crafty griefer, +1.

It was obvious from chat at the time that Seratias and Chammiefication had teleported off on an adventure, and were happily jabbering on about various things as they did so. The griefing ban did come as a bit of a surprise to me as an uninvolved onlooker. I suspect it may be as described by Seratias and as such it's +1 from me.

As "good" as this anti-greifing plugin is for the server, I feel it is banning innocent players a lot more than the greifer(s), and they are using it to their advantage. I would not be suprised if we see chest spamming soon in an attempt to get someone banned.

Keyhen, he reads the forums you know. I'd remove that before he uses the idea.

True, but won't innocents suffer if You-Know-Who keeps griefing?

How exactly are any of them innocent? They shouldn't be touching anything if it isn't theirs. Just because something is empty doesn't mean it wasn't already looted. So not only are they being a accessory and helping looters get away but they aren't reporting it and making sure it's ok. Look at it from more than one angle, everyone knows on the server they shouldn't be touching other peoples stuff it's common sense.

So in retrospect technically there is very few invalid bans involving the script. Regardless Seratias I doubt you meant anyone harm but you really should report stuff like this to staff prior to touching anything. You are unbanned, I hope I don't see you back here.
