So as we all know Spawn is the first place new players see. My understanding of the 4 main spawn realm and the surrounding ring has been as follows; The realms must be kept to a high(ish) standard with sufficient pathways.

Now, I remember a time not so long ago when a rule was enforced. If your spawn realm wasn't up to par you were given an ultimatum - Improve it within a given time period or face the realm being auctioned.

The realm in question here today is X:75 Z:25.

Roobean has owned this realm for a while now and many people including myself feel that this realm isn't up to par for Spawn. Roobean started by covering the hollowed realm with glass and spreading water in random ways underneath allowing the water to cascade downwards into the void below. A dirt shack then appeared in the middle of the realm along with other random things including Roobean's name made from TNT. Now - this was slightly improved when one day, the glass had gone and sandstone was placed with a wooden border.

Now fast forward to day and what do we see? The sandstone floor with a wooden border, some horrid water feature nonsense flowing around a central wooden shack type box. Upwards in an upside down pyramid of suspended water. The realm has no pathways running through it in either direction. And to note: the pathway that borders the realm is infact NOT in Roobean's realm.

I would offically like to request that Roobean be given an Ultimatum for this realm. Members of the community feel this realm is NOT up to standard for a Spawn realm. New players join, and infact those of us that just /spawn - We look around, maybe take a wonder. We see some nice stuff and then stumble across this:









Roobean has been asked in the past to improve this realm and has failed to do so. This realm has been mistreated for long enough. Please, save this realm!

-1 I have to say sorry torn. I respect your care for keeping our beloved spawn beautiful, but Roobean is working on a project and I already have a clue of what it is. Water slide. She is working very hard i have been watching her do so when she is on. Also Roobean is the holder of our Phoenix at spawn so that is a BIG no no to her being banned. I know you care, but nothing can be done fast and roobean has a time frame for when she can be on as well. Instead of having her banned, how about you ask her in private chat or pm her asking what she is doing and since you say it is taking too long, ask her to have some people help her instead.
I like my Roobeans, Rooboo, Roobot, etc.

-1 Sorry torn but this isn't a good reason to ban people and it feels little like you are taking revenge on the ban req Roo did against you not so long ago. So please just put away the battle axes and talk

It's Roobean's realm. Let Roobean do what Roobean wants to it. Last I checked there is not a written set of rules/regulations you have to conform to for you to keep your spawn realm.

But rules are enforced, and people have to abide by them.

With that said, I think a request like this should be submitted once the build is completed (if you still don't like it). I want to see what it becomes.

Show me the rule that says you have to have your spawn realm conform to someone else's taste.

-Edit- The build is note even done, last I checked. It could end up looking just fine later down the road, or Roobean might just completely do away with this build idea and make something else. No point in banning Roobean over it.

Mistreated..? Are realms neglected children now?

I find this realm to be somewhat.. unappealing, and I'll admit that for free. On the other hand, other realms in the immediate area of Spawn have also been criticized for there appearances, and are still there, and all, after being given the chance to be finished, are stellar additions to the server.

Not only that, but many of the builds around Spawn took a generous amount of time to complete, and all were given that. If, as kevinmoon believes, it's a water slide, consider how impressed new players would be to see something so interesting on the server?

Regardless, this request seems almost a retaliation for this this thread, but I doubt you'd be so shallow as to do that... but perception is a powerful thing. I believe that Roobean should be allowed to finish the build, but should noticeably step up the effort to do so.

-1. Give Roo the chance to finish the work, it'd be worth it to get the attention of new players, and this request is meh in my opinion. Others get the chance to finish builds near Spawn. This is no different.

NO ONE, and I mean NO ONE has the right to tell you what to do with your realms. You payed for those realms and should not be challenged or told what to do. Disappointed in this topic and I hope it is locked. Thats like saying Kroxic should sell all his realms near spawn because he has around 10-15 realms sitting there empty for almost a year now, it shouldn't be happen. -20k

I agree with all the above posts save for OP, who is being a jerk to this realm owner and like already said, realms, even spawn realms, are belonging to whoever bought them, end of story, said and done
