Hello,

On Feb 2, I was mining with my buddy, ktandcole. We were going to leave the area so we broke our furnaces, crafting bench, and chest. My buddy placed the chest but I broke it. Immediately, the server message appeared banning me.

ktandcole chatted with TornadoManiac and he said that he put in an invalid ban request.

I was just wondering how long I needed to wait to be unbanned.

ps - just a suggestion for the auto-banning... can the server check the buddy list and not automatically ban for breaking blocks placed by someone on your buddy list?

In my opinion why should you be unbanned? You already did the same thing before, I get he's your friend but obviously you didn't learn the first time.

I can understand how you think these 2 instances are similar... When I was banned before, I broke a random empty chest with the intention to move, not steal. I have totally learned my lesson, do not break anything that doesn't belong to you.

This past Sat, I was mining with my buddy, ktandcole. After hours of mining, we didn't remember who had placed the chest. I actually thought it belonged to me. It wasn't until after the server the message, that my buddy said, "I guess the chest belonged to me". We really didn't remember. ktandcole contacted the staff online at the time to explain.

I understand the need for auto-ban but hope you reconsider since I didn't do anything mean, distrustful, or harmful to another player. I really thought the chest was mine.

Will you reconsider the ban?

I understand the situation but if you knew it banned you before from taking something that wasn't yours. And then question which one of you placed the chest you really should of contacted staff instead of testing that theory of who's is who's. You are just wasting your own time as well as mine, I'll unban you but if I see you back here again for the same reason don't expect a unban for awhile.
