Firstly, I am assuming that I was banned because I had previously taken some bookshelves and wool from a house (there is nothing else I can think of that would have gotten me banned). I am assuming also, that that house was in fact inhabited (previously unbeknownst to me). The reason that I did take those items from the house was because I saw them in a house, with half of the windows shattered, most of the walls gone and miscellaneous redstone and other items laying on the ground. I saw them and thought, "I have much need for these, but it looks as though they are abandoned." Had I known that the house that looked vacant was in fact inhabited, I would surly would not have taken the items I had. I gladly would give them back if I had the chance and will do my best to not let this predicament occur again.

Well thank you for being honest about taking those items. However even if a place looks abandoned it is most likely griefed and you should contact staff to check it out.

As far as your ban goes you were actually banned for griefing the area around the spawn nether portal.

I did take a few obsidian from around the spawn nether portal, but I strategically took it from a room that was half destroyed and completely filled with signs containing filth directed towards everyone. I would not have taken it had the room looked as though someone was maintaining it. I understand what I did wrong and it won't happen again.

I checked over the area in question and it's literally right near the portal, it was the sign room. As far as it being destroyed is because other griefers hit the area and no one had reported it so you taking stuff and not reporting it doesn't really help.

It's always better to ask then to join in unknowingly it just gets you banned.

Thank you for the quick response. I am looking forward to Sunday very much. I will most definitely take your advice and report anything that looks like greifing before I do it as well.

Hey, Geothermal123 here. I don't want to seem like a spammer, but I was wondering as I was trying to log on to the server if there is a reason that I am still banned. Have you guys just not gotten around to it? Or am I just getting serious lag? Life is SO boring without MineRealm. Will you please unban me as soon as possible?

Unbans usually happen later in the day. Just be patient.
