My minecraft account, Jewiz was just recently banned on minerealm. I have no idea why this is, so is it possible that I could either be unbanned or if someone could at least explain what I have done, thanks.

managed to use correct forum, but failed to read sticky on correct format.

Okay, I found the sticky. There is no reason to be rude savesthedazed, I just missed it.
I'm going to restate this appeal. I was recently banned on minerealm. I'm sure the admins/mods have a reason for it but I'm not sure what this is. Is it possible that they could explain why this is, thanks.

Roger that. You are not entitled to know why you were banned, but it is a common / almost expected courtesy that mods will provide you.

No, I didn't ban you. Hopefully the mod who did will kindly state his case for your satisfaction.

2B. Admins and Mods will explain the reason for the ban. There is a difference between this and #2. We will explain to you why you have been banned, but that does not mean you can turn around our reason and use it as an argument, such as "I wasn't even there!" Or "Pics or it didn't happen!"

From the ban appeal sticky. Relevant portion bolded. According to sticky, he IS entitled to know why.



Edit: Also, after looking, i can't find anything mentioning format of the ban appeal. All I see is the command to not say "for no reason". Other than that it appears to be up to discretion of petitioner.

I was hoping the wording wouldn't throw you off to think that they are entitled 100% to know why they were banned. It is just a very common courtesy to explain why, and in fact frowned upon if we don't.

The only reason I say this is because I don't want the "I'm entitled to something" mentality to slip into their heads :o
