Hiya, this is a ban appeal for myself (character name 'LordRamuthra'). I tried to log on just now and apparently I have been banned. Firstly, I would like to know why I have been banned please (after all, it does say I am at least entitled to that in the rules section). I suspect it is because I was accused of spamming the number '1'. If this is the case then I apologise because I did repeatedly type that into the chat, however I believe a ban is a bit harsh. The reason I did that was because I typed 'Lagtest' prior to typing '1', because I just wanted to display how many seconds behind the lag was causing me to be. By counting the number of 1's in the chat box, I estimated that I was about 15 seconds behind at the time. In fairness, at the time a handful of people did enter 'Ban him' (or something to that effect) into the chat, but I thought nothing of it; after explaining the reason why I had typed the numbers.

If it is for another reason though, I would like to apologise for that too. I'd appreciate it if I get a reply; I like this server and it would be a shame to recieve a permanent ban for something silly.

Bump - making sure this is seen!

You could very easily have just typed "lagtest" and counted in your head. In fact, that would have been much easier.

I didn't ban you. Hopefully the Mod that did can share his insight :o

Yes I know I could have counted in my head. I now feel annoyed at myself for not doing that but at the time I was irritated by the lag and let that out by a brief moment of idiocy. And that bump was a bit pointless I suppose, I hadn't seen any replies and was wondering if anybody could see it. All good now, just waiting for the info on the ban.

Mods have lives outside of Minecraft. They are not always able to check the forums on a daily basis. Please continue to be patient.

Haha I'm checking these forums on something of an hourly basis. Apparently I have less life than the mods...

Perhaps they're avoiding the thread here, on the basis of what you put on the previous thread...
