Used the teleporter trying to get close to somewhere specific, was dropped into Aksys's fort realm. There was only one exit I could see and upon travelling through it was caught in an unmarked lava drop trap.

I had a relatively significant amount of valuables in my possession that are lost now.

From what Flan told me unmarked deathtraps are illegal. Blocking access to the outside is illegal and thus are what I consider grounds for punitive action against Aksys.

I'd like Aksys banned.

I also think it's important to mention that if someone doesn't want you in their realms bad enough, they can build a drop trap like that fill it with water and force you to /spawn or /home or something. To do it with lava essentially means they want you dead.

I'd be cool with withdrawing this request against aksys, if he fixes the trap and/or puts up warning signs, AND reimburses me for lost items. about 8000rc would be fair.

Items lost include:

1. Practically new Silk I Eff IV Unb III diamond pick
2. Brand new diamond axe
3. New'ish Diamond sword
4. New Diamond Shovel
5. Full set of new diamond armor
6. Stack of Lapis Blocks
7. Half stack of Glowstone blocks
8. about 14 jungle saplings

That's the really expensive stuff I can think of.

Are you sure that the trap was unmarked, and not simply marked from the outside? I doubt that Aksys anticipated the teleporter machine teleporting an individual inside his fort. Sure, it is blocking someone's route out of the realm, but I don't think that this warrants a ban purely because I doubt that he anticipated this sort of incident.

There is 3 other exits all safe, and aksys hasn't been on since the 25th. As for the rest it's tbd.

Like I said Rokkr, I dropped in, was trying to go somewhere, I didn't care about his realms, I left through the first exit I saw. I was sprinting and saw the plate before it was too late.

As far as being marked, my screenshots show that access from both the inside and out. No marking whatsoever.

And I'm pretty sure you said they were only legal if marked to warn players.

I've spoke with Intelli about this quite a few times in the past. I will state it again here and also mark it in the official rules so people can find it easier.

"Traps" are allowed to be made. They cannot be built near spawn or off a main path unless marked.

"Traps" are allowed in the nether as long as they aren't within 50 blocks of the spawn portal. The same goes for the End except the spawn point instead of the portal. As for the Wilderness it's free game.

In this case Ori is correct, the traps is off 1 of the 4 main paths out of the realm which isn't allowed unless marked. So aksys will be banned, I will note he hasn't been on since the 25th, so it's not like he could fix it atm, I have went back and blocked off that traps so no one else dies by them.
