Heh, if this isnt retarted i dont know what is. So right when i join frosty tells me about some new hacker. Me trying to record him, get him into my guild and get him to pvp king. i was recording this. as king was put into a corner i did 1 hit maybe 2 if even. he pvp logged. Kaneg messeges me seconds later saying no luring last warning or your banned. So how on earth he knew this so fast, i dont know. I then try talking to him and he doesnt respond, he says he responded to all of them, maybe he was afk but he didnt. I was asking him stuff, then he had intelli messege me the same thing about luring. Intelli also wouldnt reply, this was already frusterating me. Then about 5 minutes later i ask kaneg again. he says hes replied to all my messeges. I said and i quote "You didnt answer me and then you had intelli messge me?" We were having a civil conversation and then i was banned. I found this ridiculous. I understand i may have been a little frusterated but i said no explicit lauguage or anything. i didnt use caps, i didnt rage. I apologize for the rudeness i may of caused, but i was literally just trying to start a civil conversation

I don't understand. How was OneMan luring? And I'm gonna go ahead and request in advance that my friend's ban appeal not be turned into the biggest flame war in the history of the forums.

People: if you aren't directly involved or in Vortex, don't post. If you flame, you can and will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.

Step one: Oneman invited PacmanGEN into his guild
Step two: Oneman then proceded to ask him, come camp the nether portal with us
Step three: PacmanGEN went into the nether and he was ambushed (by his so called guild friends)
Step four: Oneman kicked him from the guild
You say thats not luring?

My pov
Step one: Frostybirth>>OneManWo1fpac: Theres a new hacker PacmanGEN.
Step two: Add him to the guild as a way of trying to be nice guy, and try to get info out of him at the same time.
Step three: I Convince him to pvp king, which i recorded trying to catch his hacks.
Step four: He comes in attacking king while we were messeging. he starts attacking king was hit into a corner i hit him ONCE and then he logged. You then instantly messeged me even saying if i kill him ill get banned
Step five: I leave him to be just going to the portal.King stayed where he was watching him.
also Kaneg>>OneManWo1fpac: Last warning if you lure again, you will be banned.
i received this and i stopped, i went on with my things heading to the vortex grinder to, well grind. and then im banned... So then, what was the ban for?

Just stop it. Oneman doesn't get to decide (nor his friends) who gets to flame and who doesn't.
Either way hopefully this gets resolved one way or the other. If what Kaneg says happened is fact, then I suppose it's somewhat tenuous grounds for banning, but staff is pretty competent and I imagine the truth will out eventually.
Good luck with your appeal.

From what I can tell, the main reason why this confusion is everywhere is because Oneman did not know what
specific thing he was doing that was considered luring, and note that not everyone thinks hard about what exact thing is unacceptable. Secondly, it doesn't seem that Oneman received a notice on what thing that he was doing was considered luring. Usually, when people think of luring, they think of "Diamonds in the nether!" without stating that PvP is enabled. Next off, PacmanGem knew that PvP was enabled in the nether, but didn't know that he was about to be ambushed, but let's consider, you can't really tell for sure if you will be ambushed in the Nether spawn unless you actually are ambushed upon entry (Don't get me started in a lesson about Schrödinger's cat).
The biggest problem caused here is that Oneman was not given specifics. He was not directly told that "Luring PacmanGem into the nether just to ambush him and record his hacking is considered luring." From the details given, he was just told "what you are doing is luring," and when Oneman asked "what part?" he was not given a definitive answer.
Also, Origami, even though I'm not Oneman, I, personally, appreciate what you said in your post for supporting Oneman. Thanks, friend.

I can see how that is luring, IF they did it just to kill the player. But, if what oneman said was true, and they were trying to (not necessarily succeeding) expose a hacker, then I see little problem with what he did. Good luck Oneman!

Quick question, you say you were filming in order to see if this player was hacking... Would it not then be logical that you still have this film on your computer as proof? If so I think it would be the sensible thing to do to post it here.
