He trapped me and tried to kill me by putting sand on me. He did this on more than one occasion but I only have pictures from one.
He got me trapped and I couldn't get out because he was blocking the way

I finally escaped and lost some health but still alive

I know a video would be better but i didn't have it ready at the time.
I don't know if this is enough for a ban but thought I would give it a shot.

Where were you when this happened? Last I checked, this server allows PvP, barring spawn, and I don't see any evidence of a particular location. Further, the guy was going after you with sand, so you really should have been better able to do some damage/get away; I see arrows, where's your bow (and sword)?

This was on the temp map Aelcalan so there was no pvp.

Looks like a legit murder attempt to me. Don't see how this is breaking rules. Perhaps if you had included a pic with f3 up so we could see the location and determine it was inside spawn, you might have a case, but as it is, looks like you are just admitting to letting some dude murder you with sand.

I would be too embarrassed to post those pics if i was the one getting sanded, so kudos for bravery on your part.

Was the no pvp rule stated or did everyone just assume the temp map was a free for all like it normally is?

I was away for a minute getting something to drink but when I came back what do you think I saw?
Yes it was on the temporary map so no pvp.
He stalked me around waiting for me to leave my keyboard for a minute, it was weird.
But I understand if it doesn't get him a ban.
And who could gather enough diamonds to make a full diamond amour suit in about 2 days? Just wondering.

I can get enough diamonds for a full suit + sword in an hour, starting with nothing at all. I did it on the last temp server right before 2.0 and slaughtered tons of people.

Also, I keep seeing people say its a temp server so no pvp, but i still haven't seen anyone post a link to where it was stated that pvp is against the rules on a temp server.

From what I heard the toomanyitems mod was working at that time so they were spawning in thier own items. Problem was we couldn't check inventories so alot of people got away with alot. I know though I talk to jt about this same type of thing with killing people with sand earlier today, and it is bannable believe it or not.

I did lose some health so it shows he was trying to kill me.

Their was no way to kill them unless you dump lava, catch them on fire, drown them, or use sand to kill them. How would you get the idea that that would mean pvp is allowed.
You can not get that many diamonds in an hour.

Toomanyitems doesn't work in multiplayer unless you are server admin with the give command as the mod author himself has crippled it. However i could easily see other spawning mods working so its plausible that his diamonds were spawned.

Also, as for sand killing being a bannable offense, all i can say is that its lovely we have one more rule that is a bannable offense that is not posted or mentioned anywhere. I really love watching new players read the rules and follow them all, only to get banned anyway because no one bothered to post the rule and the only possible way the new player could of known of the rule would of been to dig through random threads in an obscure section of the forums.
