Technically I was banned for trying to say "goodbye" back in July. Those who were here at the time know why I don't stand really stand a chance of getting unbanned, though.

Why am I trying to get unbanned? Simply, it's because I miss Minerealm. In the past 3 months I have not found a server that is quite the same as Minerealm. I could keep looking for another 3 months but I would never find one. There are some that are similiar, but none just quite like it. Minerealm is unique, and stands out among the many minecraft servers because of its custom plugins, its history-rich map, its well-developed economy, its wonderful player base, and its dedicated administrative team that actually connect with the players and care (unlike SOME servers I've been on in the past.) I miss Minerealm. I miss my friends. I want to come back to what is one of the best servers I've ever spent time on.

Now, for the reason I think I don't have a snowball's chance of coming back. I'm not going to elaborate too much, because those who were here remember, and it's an unpleasant thing that does not need to be brought up for the rest of you.

There is no excuse for what I did, but I'd like to explain why I did it. I was angry because of the carpet bans that were applied at the time. Several of my friends were caught in these, and it made me angry to see them (as I thought at the time) unjustifiably banned. I wanted to avenge them, and I tried. I acted in anger. I see now (and I have seen for a while now) that what I dd was childish, immature and stupid. It was completely uncalled for. Having had some time to reflect, I understand why the bans were applied and why they were appropriate. Intelli, I regret personally attacking you as I did. It was completely unjustifiable and inappropriate. It was something I never should have done, and all it accomplished was to make everyone realize what an immature brat I was. Even if I'm not unbanned, I mean it. I'm sorry.

Hopefully, I will be allowed to come back and rejoin the citizens of Minerealm, but I completely understand if I cannot be forgiven for my transgressions. Thank you for your time.

Yes.

Technically, MsPacman was banned for doing a /ad.

Banned for conspiracy of quitting. Anything after the ban should not be held against MsPacman.

Ninjalo, I appreciate that you have that screenshot saved and posted it, but I did certain things before I placed that advertisement that were not discovered until after I had been banned. Those actions, and my actions directly after being banned, should not be considered any differently than the ban itself.

As you can see by the tag, this decision will ultimately be up to Intelli... however, I feel I should point out that you were also banned at the end of the same month for excessive swearing (the chat logs for the month were processed through the filter). Since those bans all required appeals, I would recommend mentioning it so that your appeal is "complete". Although, I suppose it could be related...

As shaddowdemon said, I need to add something.. Yes, about my old habit. I don't remember a day before I was banned where I didn't set off the filter. I used to find it hilarious, because it was "edgy". I cursed more in real life than I did in the game, believe it or not. I understood then that it was wrong; I just didn't care. I figured the staff liked me too much to ban me for flirting with the filter, and I cursed just enough to get by with it without being autobanned.

I also remember what a bitter, unfriendly person I could be to, well, almost everyone. I'm surprised people liked me, to tell the truth. I'm a bit ashamed of this. I feel that I have become more friendly, and I hope that, if I am unbanned, you guys will see my new attitude in my behavior.

I know it's cliche to say I've changed, but I have, at least somewhat. I still swear, quite moderately actually. It's still a problem that I'm working on in real life, but I've matured enough to care what other people think of how I talk and to see how it bothers other people. It's just plain unattractive. I've also matured enough that even if I have trouble filtering my mouth, I can filter my fingers and stop it from appearing on screen.

I offer a formal apology for my offensive language in the past, and I will do my best to keep it from recurring if I am unbanned. I say best, because I am far from perfect. I am merely human, but if I slip, I understand and accept the fault and subsequent penalty of my actions.

So consider this the second part of my appeal, for my violation of the swear filter, and for my horrible attitude in the past; also consider it my long overdue bump for the day

If I am permabanned, I humbly request that you let me know so that I don't bother you any further<3 If this is the case, I am sad but I understand why.

Although we didn't talk much I heard about you a lot. We did play back in the day not personally together but at the same time. I vaguely remember you applying for the Soviet Union and you living in the end. I say +1.

Yes, that was back a while before I was banned. I remember you stickgod91, you and Anarchaos ran the Soviet Union. I also remember applying for it; that was mostly a joke I'm sure I'd kick myself if I looked back on all my old forum posts.
