About Yourself:
I was born in England and moved to the Netherlands when I was 5 (or at least my parents decided to move). I'm at university at the moment doing computer science. I enjoy playing sports, I play baseball at the moment and do the occasional running (haven't got much time for any more since I started studying).
I joined MineRealm almost two months ago (it feels longer) so I'm not a 1.0 or 2.0 veteran. It was pretty much the first server I joined and I liked it from the start. I also have an Xbox360 and am part of a community over on that platform.
Qualifications:
I've been part of multiple communities before and have experience being a moderator in those. For the rest I've played a decent amount of minecraft and know the game and this server very well. Any other useful qualification would be handling people well but that is for you to judge.
Why you deserve this position:
I feel I've been a helpful player since I joined and I have a completely clean history. I can be a bit harsh towards people asking questions that could be answered by reading signs or /help but that could also be a good thing. Also, I've posted a good number of ban requests in the past, all of which have resulted in a ban.
I don't feel I have any enemies or really strong allies on the server which will help making objective decisions. Despite this I do interact with the community quite a lot and i think most people here will know me by now.
Availability:
I'm usually online during the evening/late afternoon my time. I don't have set times when I'll be on though, it's just when I have time and nothing else to do. I think I've been online quite a lot recently though.
A lot of the time there isn't a moderator on when I am so I believe I'd be filling some kind of gap.
Anything else you wish to add:
The reason I posted this application today is because of the large influx of new players I saw just now. Poor Shampoo was being bombarded with people asking questions and I would have liked to be able to help a little bit more.
