What happened to the old smilies?

Why did Intelli get rid of them? I want them back! Not yet an idea/suggestion, but I'm including a poll nontheless.

p.s. I also dislike the new ones, they're not really expressive. The new Razz is pathetic, just to name one. It doesn't even seem cheeky.

I like the new ones more, but I was thinking about making a thread of adding more new smilies. There use to be more different smilies then there was now, that's why I want keep the new smilies, just add more.

Their hideousness was not to go unpunished.

i think we should get all the old ones back alongside the new ones unless the new ones are incompatible, in which case the new ones should go
