This Is probably my connection but , I cant connect to either server and I am getting messages such as

"Protocal Error"
"Internal exception: java.net.SocketException: Connection Reset"
"taking too long to log on"
"Internal exception: java.io.IOException: Bad packet id 37" - there is also the same message as this except with a 42

Anyone know how to fix?

Yeah, I Saw You Having Problems Getting On, Heres My Suggestion.
Delete You .minecraft Folder (BACKUP YOUR SAVES, TEXTURES AND PICTURES FIRST) Then Redownload It, Try That And Tell Me If It Doesnt Work, Ill Think Of Something Else.

Lol so it showed me connect but leaving a split second after joining?

I re-downloaded MC but still getting the same errors

I tried joining other servers but that doesnt work either

I feel this is a victory of sorts for Novasbiscuit.

Im Reading Some Forums And They Say, Update Your Java. Do You Have The Most Updated Version? If Not Try That.

I suggest going to speedtest.net and then doing a test to see what your ping is.
also do you have a lot of devices using the internet on your network?
you might want to disconnect some of them that arent necessary.

How do I update java?
