Well, I read twenty five already this school year so I will just list some of my favs.

Underland Chronicles (5 books)

Hunger Games Series (3 books)

Harry Potter Series (7 books)

39 Clues (10 books [11th came out yesterday]) (My favorite)

Warriors Series (Not sure how many, I read four when I was younger but it is still one of my favorite series)

Thats pretty much it. I am looking for more books to read becuase I finished Gregor and 39 Clues just recently. What are your favorite books? Post here!

Fictional Stuff:
Perks of Being a Wallflower by Stephen Chbosky
On the Road by Jack Keruoac

Non Fiction:
Mein Kampf by Adolf Hitler
The Last King of Scotland by Giles Foden
Physics of the Impossible by Michio Kaku

FICTION:
I generally pick favorites by author, not title:

• When I was younger, William Sleator was my favorite author, and Interstellar Pig was my favorite book.
• Then and now I really like Terry Pratchett. My favorite book by him was Night Watch.
• Recently, I read the Uplift series. My favorites were Startide Rising and The Uplift War , which were truly epic: they covered much of the universe.

Overall, I mostly read science fiction, especially the sub-genre hard sf.

NON-FICTION:

1. I recommend The Story of Science books by Joy Hakim. They look like textbooks, but I enjoyed them in 6th and 7th grade.
2. Although I don't understand about the second half of Brian Greene's books, I was especially fascinated by his first book: The Elegant Universe, which is about String Theory.

Terry Pratchett all the way. I LOVE Going Postal. It is so funny. Also, Warriors? Really? Isn't that the weird cat series?

Yes ramien but like I said, I liked them when I was younger. I still think that it is a great series but I havent picked one up since 5th grade.

Ernest Hemingway is a great author. When I went to Key West with my family we visited his house. It was amazing!! It had a huge garden, tons of fountains, and my favorite, CATS! Lots of them too! When I was there it was 16. They are all from the same family line and get this, most have six "toes" on each paw! It is really cool!

He is often represented as one of the greats, but I'm not terribly fond of him. I've also read A Farewell To Arms and I was not terribly impressed by it. Other trusted sources have told me that a lot of his work is similar to that, so I'm in no rush to read his other novels.

But yeah, Old Man and the Sea was great.
