Ok, even the most informed person on this situation will still be surprised by this title. It's,... odd.

However, once having read the situation, it will make perfect since.

My casino has a small little hedge decoration with flowers, in fact, it has 8 in total. They can be found on floors 2+3. Each hedge is set up with 2 yellow flowers in front, and 2 in back. One day, I noticed the 2 in back were missing from every section. At first, I thought a worker who re-did the casino did this. Next, I thought it was another worker, with rights to this realm because he needed them to build stairs for another. Or, possibly a glitch. And then, I thought it was that flowers popped up if they didn't have enough light.

The worker scenarios were wiped off the board. A staff member checked the flowers. I personally asked both members too. This leaves "glitch" or new "condition" in a past minecraft update.

That's where I can't figure out which one is which. I am leaving it up to you guys. Please, tell me which is the right situation that caused me to lose 16 flowers. (Note: I tried placing them again. They popped off, as if punched.)

They need a light level of 8 or sky above else they will kill themselves and pop off.

Ah. As I suspected. Thanks for actually looking it up. I will admit to being too lazy to do so,

Even if a player were to have removed them, pretty sure mods can't check grass/flowers/other similar things, unless that changed in my absence.

I also remember being able to break grass in private realms, without having rights, never tried on flowers, but it could be a possibility, although its probably because of the light level.
