i noticed that pvp in the nether is now totally gone because of the absence with the NTC not to say i miss them but are they banned forever or temporarily

NTC as a faction has been permanently forcibly disbanded. However, of the individuals who comprised it, those who were going to be unbanned have already been unbanned.

PVP in the nether is now totally gone because of the presence of lag. Not the absence of a dead faction.

Too much lag in the Nether, caused by porblems with so much dynamic lighting?

I have solution... Lets in fill all the lava with gravel.... Who's with me? ^^

Is that the problem? The lava? I turned down all lava effects with optifine but still get lag spikes.

Even though most did nothing to be banned. *cough* poorly managed *cough*

There are still epic battles in the nether, as proven by Agent's videos. The lag is pretty horrendous at the moment. Frankly, I'm glad that I don't have to see the constant stream of noobs getting killed by Snowleopard like in the old days.

But if you want more action in the nether, be the catalyst for change and get people interested and excited for it like Arcane tries to do on occasion.
