Yes - it's true. I finally downloaded Skyrim to my pc.

Haven't done much on the game as of yet but I started it up, turned all the settings up to maximum - my pc doesn't even break a sweat. Runs the game perfectly. Looks stunning!

I know I said to alot of people Skyrim is rubbish, but lets be honest, doesn't it look beautiful?

Im not fully sold yet, I shall play some in the morning and see where I go from there :P

Please don't give anything away! I haven't read anything about the game, it's storyline or anything!

Not really. Graphics feel like they're from 2008.

Graphics haven't really taken a huge leap forward since 2008 anyway, in comparison, Skyrim is a top-tier graphical game.

But seriously, i didn't like skyrim at all. I got completely bored. I much rathered Oblivion.

I. love. skyrim.

My suggestion to you would be: Use your imagination whilst playing, really get into the storyline, and you will love it also.
Don't watch Walk Thru's. Don't watch anyone else play. Find things for yourself. Make the character be you. Let it be YOUR skyrim.

Good luck Dovahkiin!

Word of advice:

DO NOT bring your Enchanting and Smithing levels up to 100 off the bat. Sure, you can make fancy new armor for your low level character, or you can have an awesome enchanted weapon, but it really screws up gameplay. It makes everything WAY too easy.

See, I got my Enchanting to level 100 around level 20 (I think) and I enchanted armor to make destruction spells cost no Magicka. Then, when I got my destruction level to level 100, I can 10 shot an Elder Dragon by using rapid fire Thunderbolt spell.

Also, if you choose to be an all magic type character, do not get master destruction spells. The fire and ice ones are AoE and the lightning one is a massively wide beam of electricity and all three of them take a long time to charge.

lol I played through once doing like shock suggested, and it was great playing til lvl 65. However, I never progressed the main story line very far. It was all the side stuff that I got lost in. Great times :D

When I did my second character I knew I wanted certain things, so I did like Bone. I got my speech, smithing and enchanting to 100 and went from lvl 5 to lvl 35 in a matter of hours. Made life kinda easy, yes, but it was still fun. Even if I WAS walking around doing lvl 5-10 quests wearing double enchanted legendary daedra armour with a fire/lightening sword in one hand and a ice/lightening sword in the other and touting around a fire/ice bow......each of which did 42 dmg per enchant..... That's not overkill, is it? 5 shoting an elder dragon is hilarious btw.
