I am planning to buy a speaker system for my computer soon (Logitech Z906) and I was wondering if any of you kind people knew any good sound cards. I'd prefer to not spend that much while still being able to buy a decent sound card. ( I don't know which sound cards are good :/ )

Not to sound rude, but what on earth is "Fry's"? This doesn't exactly help me :/. I don't know what makes a good sound card as I've never delved into the realm of audio technology.

This is the sound "card" I used on my gaming computer for 2 years before I built my current beast: http://www.amazon.com/Creative-Soundbla ... B0044DEDCA. You can use either the minijack connectors or a TOSLINK (fiber optic) connector since your speakers have 2 TOSLINK inputs. I never had any problems with it and it's still my spare.

That looks promising, but do you know of any that are internal? (PCI)

Here's a PCI Express one: http://www.amazon.com/Creative-Labs-SB1 ... B000W7PNZI
and a similar old-fashioned PCI: http://www.amazon.com/Creative-Sound-Bl ... 447&sr=1-9

Unfortunately the old style PCI are getting harder to get so I couldn't find the same card. The USB one is good because it's practically future-proof and you can reuse it if your computer burns down (like mine tend to do).

You might find some of these on the Creative website to your liking but their prices can be all over the place: http://us.creative.com/products/welcome ... mc_id=8859
