The centre racing game is what I have searched the internets to try and find out what it is and I have had no luck.

Have you tried searching for racing games from onlive (onlive is an app that allows other apps on the iPhone)? This may be an app offered through onlive. Noticing that this isn't much for controls on the screen, that would be my guess...

No, NFS Undercover has on screen controls and a speedometer... I had thought that at first too XD.

To me it looked like something like Blur or Spilt Second but, Blur doesn't have an app and Spilt Second doesn't look like that. =/

Maybe a game from the Asphalt series?
I only have Asphalt 6: Adrenaline so I don't know about others.
