Just now realizing that I was disconnected from the game awhile ago when the server was rebooting, and now wondering how we know its updating, as I haven't seen any forum posts about it.

Playing on a friend's server >:3
Though I might go hit up some TF2 in a bit.
Just recently got my internet back, was running off my phone's 3G for about 5 days.

Before the server went down, it sent out a series of messages along the lines of "The server will be going offline to update to 1.2 in 1 minute, and will be down for 30 minutes."

Ahh, I see. I had my browser open for the past hour or so, so I haven't been watching the minecraft window.. And I usually have chat off anyway.
